The museum tells of the most historic polar expeditions in Norwegian history and our famous explorers.
What to see?
Fram is a ship that was used by Fridtjof Nansen, Otto Sverdrup and Roald Amundsen. At the museum you can walk freely around the ship is intact, the original interiors and objects on board, so it was in the early 1900s. Some of the known ekspediasjoner is Nansen ski trip over the North Pole and about the Arctic Ocean, Sverdrup expedition to Greenland and Amundsens voyage of discovery to the South Pole.
